Hi, I don't know much of what Muslims believe, but I do know that the bible contains the truth about God, and about many other things.

If anyone is teaching anything other than Jesus, God, Who always existed, yet born of a virgin, taking the form of a man, taught, healed, forgave, and much more,

his death and resurrection for all sin, and that He freed us from satan by such, and that He reconciled us with God by such, and that our sins are forgiven past, present and future upon belief by such,

and when we by faith put our trust/belief in Christ, we are a new creation, born again, and are alive for the first time in our lives (spiritually and much more) and will be with Him in heaven forever;

that's fairly much the basics, but teachings contrary to such is not about God except as pertains to theological differences among Christians on certain matters, but generally above is the basics.

My guess is you would get some replys and answers from a non-Christian thread. Most of us are here to discuss and share what Bible does say and also share information about Christianity, not Islam.

I am not an expert on Islam. I do know that the Bible teaches Christ as resurrected Lord. Islam does not acknowledge His resurrection, nor His Lordship. They lower Him to prophet.

I suggest you read the Gospel of John to learn about Him.

Why ask us?

Read the Quran yourself and make up your own mind whether or not it is what it claims to be - an eternal book dictated to Mohammed by God's messenger (the angel Gabriel). To me it doesn't remotely look like that - it is much too heavily grounded in Mohammed's time, circumstances and understanding.

Please note that the bible and the Quran do not make similar claims about themselves - judge each against what it claims to be.

Read Mohammed's history and how his followers spread the faith. A stark contrast with the beginnings of Christianity!

What would constitute disproof which would not simultaneously serve as disproof of all theistic religion?
