I've tried the Mirena, a few years ago, but I found that it reduced my libido to such an extent that it was almost non-existent. It was also virtually impossible to achieve an O, if you know what I mean. It was almost painful. It was like I have always imagined it would feel to be menopausal. Was this your experience, too?

Mine was actually quite opposite. When I was on the pill my libido was considerabley lower than normal, and when I switched to Mirena it was like "boing!" (figuratively speaking of course).
I think with me it was the estrogen in the pill that was causing me to have a low sex drive and since mirena has no estrogren my sex drive is back to normal.
