In my 10 years here, I always felt we should have a General Discussions forum. There have been times that I have wanted to discuss something, and, except for the Life Stages forums, everything else is so highly defined, that there didn't see a good place to post it. Sometimes you get to know the specific posters of an area and want to discuss something OT to the forum with the (without having to find the exact forum it would not be OT to, but don't know the people there), and can't because it is OT. If there was just a General Discussion forum, nothing would be OT.

Most other forums have a General Discussion forum, therefore, I also think it is a good idea.

The closest thing we have right now is the Life Stages Hangout (all members welcome). Maybe having a similar forum for Christians only would be a good idea.
