You mean besides going back to Iceland? I'm not really dreading anything. The thing concerns me most would be the weather. 120F and 5% humidity doesn't sound at all comfortable.

How's 99 degrees and 20% humidity...ugh...that is exactly what we had today. Not Vegas-like weather at all.

Sounds slightly better than what I described but, not by much. Does the humidity actually get up to 20%? It didn't all the time I was there.

yeah, it will get humid for a few days sometimes without any actual rain in the valley; that's annoying.

What really annoys you?

One of the things that annoys me most is when people ignore me, lie to me, lie about me and generally treat me like dirt. Another thing I hate is when people do those same things to people I love. Computers sometimes annoy me also, especially if they are M$ Windoze machines.

I'm not sure how long it'll take. I've heard it can take up to 2 years but, Since I would apply here in Iceland and the embassy here isn't very busy, it could be shorter. I hope it is.

One last question (maybe) before I turn 50 in 10 days and have to leave the fab 40's.

What is your favorite "summer vacation" memory from when you were a child?

Hey, it got up to 35% the other day, and then 42% and then it hailed!!

It was the weirdest thing.

But it just usually stays around 110 degrees F. on any given summer day. Betcha can't wait.

I grew up in Oklahoma and my summer vacations were all pretty much the same. We always came back to Iceland to visit my grandparents. It's hard to pick a favorite when they're all so similar.

My favorite vacation was during spring break when we went to the Grand Canyon and Petrified Forrest. The thing I remember most from that trip was when we stopped at a gas station and they had a monkey that I got to play with.

Btw, I don't think anyone is going to throw you out when you turn 50.

I presume you are referring to the rules of clean and unclean foods in the OT. The Torah says that anything that has fins and scales is clean and acceptable to eat. I've never seen a catfish up close but, I presume that like other fish, it has fins and scales and so, eating it is not a sin.

Yes, I have a few times. I've signed a few online petitions. The last one was to protest the removal of Terri Schiavo's feeding tube. The last actual protest (where I stood holding a sign) I took part in was to protest the building of a new hydroelectric power plant in Iceland. It's being built in a place that I and many others believe should be made into a national park. (Click here to see pictures of it.)

My real name is Kristinn which means the same as the English name Christian. I'm named after my aunt Kristin (my parents were hoping for a girl). Had I been a girl, that would have been my name. I like my name and it's meaning so I would have liked that too.

I would of course visit my child on every visiting day. Wheather I would bring the things they asked for depends on what it would be but, I would probably bring most things.
