yes, to my own taste. for instance there for a while when I made chili I just used tomatoe sauce, beef, dark red kidney beans, and onion. wouldnt really put in any chilli powder, just liked the taste of the onion fighting with the tomatoe sauce. In my earlier days used to make mothers cry because their kids would eat what I made.they'd say their kids always complained when they cooked for em. think it was just an attitude thing though.
