42's not bad in light of 50, I suppose.
I don't feel that old.
So, is it really ... old?

I thought I was midlife... sad to discover that as far as this forum is concerned, I'm over the hill! Of late I've come to grips with the longevity of my family members... I have "miles to go before I sleep" and I'm not ready to be a Golden Oldie just yet!

42's not bad in light of never turning 42, either, LOL. I'm sure you know what they say about the only way to avoid growing old... (I'm 48, by the way.)

I will be 44 in October. I've never hidden my age. I am proud to be where I am at.

Is 40 old? Go to a nursing home and then ask yourself again. There you will meet vibrant, articulate and wonderful people who make the 90's look young.

well, I may be one foot in the grave with my face turned toward heaven, but the sweetest comfort is knowing my hubby will always be ten years older than I! If that doesn't keep you young, I don't know what does!

I, on the other hand, just turned 47 and my husband turned 45 this year. I'm about 20 months older than he is and sometimes he reminds me of it.

It's funny, but as the years go by, the number is meaning less and less, although 50 has a slightly daunting ring about it. But I think the '50 something' folk should be in this forum with us. '50 something' is young as.
