Intentional sinning is service to satan. Go and sin no more. Willfully sinning is willfully serving satan.
All creation is without excuse. Accidently messing up isn't intentional, God judges the hearts.

God is good.
Absolutely. This is what this addresses, willful and repetative sin:
1 John 3:8-9
8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

Our works show our active faith. Without our works of faith our faith is not active, it is hidden, it is unused. It is weak. Our righteousness is imputed unto us...this is shown through our works. But as Paul tells us, our works do not save:

Faith without works is "dead". We must keep our faith alive.
It is possible for it to "die". It is possible even to depart from it entirely. We must lay hold, and "fight" to keep faith alive.
Galatians 3:10-11
10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse...

No one, not one(!), is justified who leans upon their works. Why? Because your works would have to uphold the entire Law..

This is the part most people come back to who believe they pretty much are always going to Heaven as a believer.

It's not the works of the law we are to be doing. We cannot fulfill the carnal ordinances. We CAN fulfill the law of liberty, the walk of the Spirit. It fulfills the righteous requirement of the spirit of the law. These are not the works of the flesh, or the works of the law.

It is not "of yourselves". We walk in the Spirit completely by grace. We cannot do this of ourselves. The same grace that forgives and gives you the robe of righteousness enables you to walk holy and without blame before Him in the Spirit. Our faith in the blood gives us our robes but we must keep them. Our walk in the Spirit keeps them undefiled. Our walk is not a given because our flesh is opposed to the grace given us, unless we mortify the deeds of the body. If we do not, we become spotted or wrinkled.

We cannot boast of our walk in the Spirit, because it is entirely by grace to walk in the divine nature. We have our part to play in the covenant to keep it and we enter into it by grace, but the choice is ours to keep it. God will not violate your free will.

Hi Bob, and thanks for taking the time and the effort to respond to the posted questions. Brother Kenneth Hagin never stood for the OSAS doctrine. He was in the middle. Which means that you are eternally secured as long as you remain in a relationship with HIM. If you depart, your name could be blotted out of the Book of Life. Please read the following Scriptures?

2 Pet. 2:20-21 “If they have escaped the corruption of the world —and are again entangled—”

1 Cor. 15:1-2 “By this gospel you are saved if you hold firmly—”

John 15:1-6 “If anyone does not remain in Me— he is thrown into the fire—”

Romans 11:22 “–kindness to you, provided you continue in it– otherwise, you will be cut off–” Heb. 6:4-6 “It is impossible for those once enlightened— if they fall away— to be brought back”

Rev. 2:10 “Be faithful unto death and I shall give you the crown of life.”

Romans 8:12-13 “If you live according to the flesh, you must die . .”

Heb. 3:14 “We have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast to the end . . .”

1 Tim. 1:19 “Keep faith & good conscience, which some rejected and suffered shipwreck of faith”

Rev. 3:5 “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white— and I will not erase his name . . .”

Luke 3:9 “The axe is already at the root of the tree– every tree that doesn’t bear good fruit is cut”

2 Tim. 2:12 “If we endure, we’ll reign with Him. If we deny Him, He will deny us.”

Heb. 10:26-27 “If we go on sinning willfully, there remains no sacrifice for sins . . .”

1 John 3:6 “No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning”

The reason for my posting these Scriptures is because I have seen that many "teachers" have begun to say that once you confess Christ it doesn't matter (eternity wise) how you live your life on Earth. At the end you will still be saved and enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. This thinking doesn't seem to align with Jesus or the Apostles teaching about salvation.

Blessings!
Adrian

Athough I am not a Greek expert, this verse clearly demonstrates a greater understanding is necessary to allow this scripture to agree with the rest of the Bible.

The verb in 1John 3:9 “doth not commit sin” and “he cannot sin” is in the Present Active Indicative (tense/voice/mood) and can be translated either present or present continuous.

English translations often give you an impression of something that is not really so. We know this because it violates the rest of scripture. Many take these verses and rest on them, forming doctrine that denies accountability (seems to be the biggest culprit).

Jesus equates obedience (or loving Him) with abiding in Him.

But if we walk in the light,
as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 1:7-10

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1 John 2:3-4

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1 John 2:5-6

Everyone of us knows how easily it is to fall into the trap of being of the world. If we don't walk closely with the Lord, these are the things that creep in. Notice the "in Him" associated. Everything to do with "in Him", "in Christ" are all about who you are yielding to (who your Lord really is).

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John 2:15-17

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1 John 3:4-5

And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him.
1 John 3:24

This is from the writings (actually a word) of the apostle that basically raised me in the Spirit. You'll find it agrees with scripture, especially the epistles of John.

"This union of my Spirit with yours is the key to and essence of your salvation...With your active willing of My presence, I begin to renew your mind and thus bring into subjection your body. If your spirit in union with My Spirit calls for you to act in some manner and you choose to override that and act out of my will, a break occurs in that ability you had given me by willing my closeness. There is turmoil as you reject the presence of My Spirit, and as your spirit rejects the action of your mind during this break, I am unable to function through you and you are out of My will. When you again choose my Lordship, I mend the break and am able to work in you. It is My Will that you are faithful to Me, but remember I am faithful to forgive you and I love you. Do not ever believe I will not forgive your sin. I have not told you so. Be aware of the discord of your spirit and y our mind and come back to Me. Ask for forgiveness and accept it, then continue your work. If you choose Me as your Lord, then you choose My will as your work."

All our past, present and future sins are forgiven!
When Jesus died on the cross, none of us was alive!

Romans 4:7 NKJV
" Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are FORGIVEN,...

Ephesians 1:7 NKJV
In Him WE HAVE redemption through His blood, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS , according to the riches of His grace

Ephesians 4:32 NKJV
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, EVEN AS GOD IN CHRIST FORGIVE YOU.

Colossians 1:14 NKJV
in whom WE HAVE redemption through His blood, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS .

Colossians 2:13 NKJV
And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, HAVING FORGIVEN YOU ALL TRESPASSES ,

Colossians 3:13 NKJV
bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; EVEN AS CHRIST FORGAVE YOU, SO YOU ALSO MUST DO.

1 John 2:12 NKJV
I write to you, little children, BECAUSE YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN YOU FOR HIS NAME'S SAKE .

Everyone's sins are all already forgiven, people don't go to hell because of their sins, they go to hell because they reject the free gift of forgiveness of sins by rejecting Christ!

All our past, present and future sins are forgiven!

They are paid for, but the debt remains unless people repent.
Everyone's sins are all already forgiven, people don't go to hell because of their sins, they go to hell because they reject the free gift of forgiveness of sins by rejecting Christ!

The gospel of reconciliation is to "be reconciled". It's not saying you're already reconciled. The blood made it possible, but only by repentance.

When we sin there is a debt. Jesus forgives that debt, but it must be obtained by means of repentance and faith in the blood covenant. We are given an example in the New Testament of someone who was forgiven a huge debt. The asked for mercy and promised to pay (what they truly could not pay). THEN they were forgiven. Yet they were wicked, they were treated as though the debt existed. In fact that person no longer qualified for the mercy and compassion they were originally shown. It was because they did not forgive a debt owed to them.

So we know from Paul and Jesus that we are to love and forgive as He did.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Matt 6:12

We will reap what we sow. If we sow corruption, we reap death.

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
Luke 17:3

Repentance qualifies you for the mercy of God. You cannot be forgiven without repentance. You cannot receive the Kingdom of God without repentance. The Nation of Israel was commanded to repent prior to Jesus' ministry.

The gospel of the Kingdom of God has repentance built into it.

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Mark 1:14-15

Romans 4:7 NKJV
"Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are FORGIVEN,...
We know that lawless deeds are not excused. They are forgiven when repented of.

Ephesians 1:7 NKJV
In Him WE HAVE redemption through His blood, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS , according to the riches of His grace
So our redemption lies in our repentance and faith. Forgiveness by the blood of Jesus.

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 1:6-7

After we're forgiven, we must walk in the Spirit (in the light). That's being "in Him". It's walking in love. We are to abide in His love.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
John 15:9-10

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:1-2

Those who are "in Christ Jesus" are the ones walking in the Spirit. You have to choose every day to do this. It is not done for you. You must deny your flesh. The power of the Holy Spirit can keep you from sinning, but we must oppose the desires of our flesh for this to happen. If you sin, the "law of sin and death" "chokes out the divine nature" wanting to be born through us -- the "law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus'.

Why would He tell us to abide if we automatically would do so?

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1 John 2:1-2

Of course, He does not have to go to the cross again. He paid for the whole world's sins. Yet it does the world no good if they do not repent. Repentance is not a one time thing. It is a lifestyle. We will all sin.

If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
James 2:8-9

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1 John 3:4-5

But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
Gal 2:17-18

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
James 4:17

Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
1 Tim 5:20

The New Testament is full of examples of believer's sinning. Jesus wasn't calling the righteous to repentance, but sinners. That's not an occupation, although for unbelievers it is. It applies to those who sin. There will be children of the kingdom who are cast out because of their iniquity. As Paul said, we need to get the sin out of our lives and run our race (which is not over).

It is a lifestyle of repentance and faith and denying yourself and living in the resurrection. Love's demands are greater than the law of ordinances were. But the blood is avaialble for all who repent.

Jesus died for the sins of the entire world. 1 John chapter 2 verse 2.
But the person must still turn from evil not sin everyone sins, even the pope.
1 John chapter 1 verse 8
If anyone claims to be without sin they deceive themselves and the truth is not in them.
James chapter 2 verse 10
If anyone keeps the whole law yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.
Here is the way to righteousness.
Matthew chapter 25 verses 31-46
When the Son of Man comes" in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. he will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. then the righteous will answer him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and got visit you? The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me. Then he will say to those on his left, Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.They also will answer, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you? He will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me. Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

You are already forgiven where you repent or not! What do you mean by repent? You notice that FORGAVE is in past tense!

God doesn't even remember sins under the new covenant!

And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
Luke 15:21-24

Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

Matt 18:23

But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
Matt 18:25-27

But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
Matt 18:28-31

Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
Matt 18:32-35

Notice that he left the state where there was no further accounting, but rather a "reckoning". Notice the accounting terms.
You are already forgiven where you repent or not! What do you mean by repent? You notice that FORGAVE is in past tense!

Notice in the above account he "was" forgiven. It was due to his deeds (fruit) that he was judged again. He became "wicked". You repent when you turn from your wickedness (being convicted of sin as appropriate) and turn to the Lord for mercy and forgiveness. You also have to have faith to believe.

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Mark 1:15

Jesus paid the sin debt at the cross in full! You can't say that when you sin the sin debt returns and then we you repent the sin debt is paid again!
You (the believer) only owe a debt when you transgress. Jesus paid for everyone's sins in full, but it won't due anyone any good unless they repent and walk in Him.

The "second" is doing the will of God from the heart (not from outward observances of carnal ordinances).

The Law in the heart (royal law of love) must be walked out and yielded to. It is higher than man's natural ways and nothing like the ways of the flesh. We are always accountable to God for our deeds/fruit/works.

In the New Covenant, we have the ability to walk in righteousness. Of course we will fail, but a provision has been made. It's not that you're covered for everything no matter what you do (without repentance/change), but rather that if you repent, His blood sacrifice was enough to redeem you. He doesn't have to come bck down and do it again.

Titus chapter 1 verse 16
They claim to know God but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
1 Corinthians chapter 8 verse 2-3
The man who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know. But the man who loves God is known by God.
(If you don't love your neighbor as yourself you don't love God, as I already showed you in Matthew chapter 25 verse 31-46. Accepting Christ does not make evil good. You have to follow Christs example of love.
God is love 1 John chapter 4 verse 8,16. If you don't follow God's and Christ's example of love your lost, if you follow there example of love your saved if you believe in Christ or not read Romans chapter 2.
Galatians chapter 5 verse 6 The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself in love. I'm not sure I'll respond any more it seems I'm wasting my time.

We didn't become sinners by sinful actions, we became sinners because adam sinned!

Romans 5:19 NKJV
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.

We don’t become righteous in God's eyes by our right works or right deeds or works of the law, we received righteousness as a gift by faith in Christ!

2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Jesus didn't become sin for us by sinning, he was sinless and so we never become right with God by right doing but by faith!

You cannot lose your righteousness in Christ by sinful actions because you never received it in the first place place by doing right things!

Paul answered that question. Grace does not give us a license to sin. We need to repent of sin, it simply is not salvific once you are saved.

Implications? See Deut 28:15+ If you indulge in sin you are choosing to walk in the curse, and it will certainly touch you.
