  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I started my knew job on monday and life has become great. I have been blessed yet again my Ruth and I now want to go abroad in this great big forum and share some of them with others. I even have a couple of people I often check out their stats to see their posts because they are very inspiring. Another is a new christian who is faced with some very worldly problems and adictions. He is one who is often in my prayers.

Speaking of praying. Until I joined this forum some months back I rarely prayed let alone pray for others. I was a man alone. No church, no christian family and although I was a christian believer a few thought prayers and lots of study made up my christian experience. You guys are educational, inspirationsal and encouraging. I am a better person for being here. Thank You All So Much. ..MIKE

Hello everyone. Just thougth I would stop by for a few minutes and say "hi". I have missed you all. Not doing badly, but not a 100% either, so, I am not going to overdo it anymore on the computer.

Sorry to hear about your accident Ruth.

Been nice for the last few days, but, now it is back to cold and raining, guess we will not have a regular Spring, oh well.
