I write a lot. I'm currently working on a short book (maybe novel, maybe not, who knows yet), have written quite a few short stories (literally, short), and a tonne of poetry.
I don't have a website for it, though I do have some on my devart account..

I am a writer and a poet. I write for a Christian website and I get quite a lot of my poetry published, which is gratifying. I am in the process of writing three books, but find it hard to settle down to the hard work necessary to finish them!

I've written poetry, lyrics, books both fiction and nonfiction. Been told I am good but haven't submitted anything for publication except a poem and a couple of devotionals. Bombed on the devotionals, but I got really nice rejection letters, LOL!

I'm a writer, but I'm not all that good yet. I'm practicing! Mostly, I write short stories. I really admire novelists, because I just don't see how it's possible to keep writing for so long, yet keep the story going well. I'm going to keep writing, though, because I really enjoy it. I can see that I'm a lot younger than most of you that are posting here. That's OK, please answer anyway!

I am an amateur writer. It's creative writing but I'm getting better with every story I write. I did a story/article once that got first place in the journalism catagory for a NASA competion. It's called "Commemorative Stamps to Honor Animal Astroanuts" I was so proud of the plaque I got for it. I am going to start writing Christian stories now though. So wish me luck.

I love poetry and I write it. I use to write when I younger to let my feelings out in the open. Since I have been saved I pick passages out of the bible and if something is troubling me I write about whats bothering me and the passage in the bible that gives me comfort on the subject(and put it into a poem) for example my husband and I filed bankruptcy about a year ago and at first we were kind of embarrassed about it but we got over it after learning many young people get over their heads in debt and we were not the only ones in the world to do this...then some very close family members would make it a point to make fun at the situation kind of like "im better than thou" we were saved at this point and didnt understand why someone would be that way...in fact we were no longer in money trouble but we are not rich by any means...so i turned to the scripture LUKE 16:25 and put it into a poem to forgive these two people because I have to room for hate in my heart...just love.

I have written a few poems. I am certainly not a poet. I did write a poem that a friend put to music and a very good Southern Gospel Group is planning to record on their next CD. I have written one play, but haven't had it performed on stage yet. I wrote some articles for an on line Beagle Web Magazine. I am finishing a course in writing now. I have one assignment left. I have submitted a few short stories, but haven't made a sale. I have some nice "doesn't fit our editorial needs at this time" rejects. I am working on an inspirational book.

I am a poet. My latest collection is called "Calling Myself on the Phone" and is published by Smiths/Doorstop books here in the UK (available from Amazon.co.uk, if you're interested )

Although I've been a Christian longer than a poet, I can't say I'm impressed by the standard of a lot of religious verse, and don't write it much myself. I read a lot of poetry, mainly by Americans.

Basically, it is about myself and 9 of my old high school friends who for some reason were destined to save an alternate reality from an inpending doom that would eventually spread into our own. They are literally stripped from their own places and arrive in a mysterious cave which turns out to be the "Riftlich;" a portal between both alternate realities.

Once they arrive, they learn that they (and others) are the prophesized heroes and heroines; "The Travelers of the Riftlich" (the book's title). They must prepare themselves to save all that exists in all realities least the great evil prevails.

I plan on one person perhaps choosing to "stay behind" during a climatic sceen when they embattle this great evil. Whether that person ever makes it back home, even I probably won't know...giving it a bit of "fan fiction" possibility.

It will draw upon my own ideas as well as some from other fantasy novels, particulary Lord of the Rings, and some adventure gaming as well.

sounds a bit like sci-fic. You mean the real time frame overlapped with another fantasy world right?
lol, that impending doom.. a plot that is used over and over in many fantasy books but the readers and writers never get tired of them.

I am a writer.
No, really.
I have written some poetry and had it commended by the head of a college English department. Writing teachers who run into my work usually tell me to keep writing.
But my true love is novels. I have been working on various novels since I was about nine. And yes, I'm currently working on the *typical* fantasy novel. Other world, same God. Main character has visions of said same God and becomes a prophetess of sorts. Very big, six books plotted and I'm re-starting the first for the sixth and what I hope is the last time.
