  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

HI I am doing great.I am new here and thought I would see if there were anyone from michigan.Have you ever heard of Pleasant Lake?That is where I am.It is by Jackson.i AM 48 YRS old.I am married and i stay home to care for my mom that had to move in with us.she has alzheimers.Just thought I would share al ittle with me.I like to listen to ken copeland,dollar.charles capp.have a great day

I have heard of Pleasant Lake. I live with my grandmother, cheaper that way...

I really dont watch much televised preaching, unless its Shepherds Chapel; its unadorned straight up bible in your face, I love it! I used to watch a lot of Kenneth Copeland and Lakewood Church, till I got sick and tired of hearing 'now that you've heard a fragment of the sermon, heres some merchandise to buy'. I CANNOT STAND IT!!! True, the literature may very well be uplifting and inspired by God and His Word, I just have a problem with preachers that spend half, if not more of their airtime selling me stuff that I can't afford! What I usually end up doing is spending my time reading my Bible and allowing God to speak to me through His word.

Other than that, I usually spend my days online chatting with other people of the Faith.
