I am so sorry no one in my family knows how to play the guitar nor can we; my older sister learned how to play the piano but that is a whole different instrument!

Keep looking, I'm sure a contemporary of yours will come along in awhile.

p.s. heck, if your older sister IS GOOD at 'art rock' and loves to do computer recording, let her know. I wouldn't mind collabing with a keyboardist.

Do you know of anyone that teaches a musical class? I wasn't offered this when I went to school (Homelink CAM Program). My major was science, I didn't graduate with any musical knowledge.

I wouldn't consider myself advanced. My friends say im awesome but that's to the untrained ear and eye. Anytime I get a little cocky I just watch some old Hendrix videos, slash, or zak wylde. Then I realize how awesome I'm not haha. But if interested hit me up, I play mainly in drop d and standard, loving the drop c but gotta get some new strings first. Favorite bands and styles I like to play off of. For Today, august burns red, war of ages, corpus Christi, letter to the exiles
