What lead you to Reformed Christianity? You can PM me if you'd like.

Raised Presbyterian (PCUSA) so had reformed roots although they weren't well developed.

When I first married attended the local Roman Catholic parish with my husband (who was raised Catholic, but hadn't practiced in years). After about 2 years realized that there was too much I didn't agree with (don't want to be accused of Catholic bashing, so I'll leave it at that) - so went back to my reformed roots. Took a little bit of searching and a church in the middle, but I've worshiped with my present church family for around 12-13 years, at my current church for 6 1/2 years. We are a reformed Baptist church - yes, you can read Calvinist there (although I don't love the term). I've said before and will continue to say, finding PRBC was like coming home - I can't imagine worshiping anywhere else.

As an aside - we're a small congregation (about 40-50 people, including children). At least 5 other adult members were either raised Roman Catholic or, like myself, attended with a spouse.

My wife was a "cradle Catholic" with a former nun for a mother and a former Jesuit for a father. She didn't really develop a strong relationship with Christ, or study the Bible until she was involved in a college non-denom campus ministry. Through that ministry she came to commit her life to Christ and was baptized as a believer. Later after we were married, through the instruction and guidance of reformed churches we've attended, and my personal theological studies which I've shared with her, we've both become reformed.

Providence Reformed Baptist Church. Sorry - I regularly use the abbreviation and assume people know what I'm talking about.

Oh cool. I thought you were talking about Phoenix Reformed Baptist Church (www.prbc.org), home of James White. That was the only PRBC that I knew of until now.
