  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

ok guys can you please pray for my friend? I've known her since Pink Tags (2nd grade) and I jsut got this email from her:

"hey i had gone to the dr to get some blood tests done today and they poked me 5 times my arms are killing me and i am tired...i also have this weird lump in my arm and they have to call a surgeon cause the dr doesn't know what it is....isn't that just wonderful...i had to fast from 12 midnight and i couldn't eat breakfast...i almost passed out...then they gave me some kinda glucose icky stuff that was sticky and thick and blah and instead of my blood sugar rising it dropped....which is just crazy! i need to sleep they had me there from 8 to 2..poking me and making me pee in cups...gosh! ok i am going to bed now..I'll talk to you later...toodles...

they only gave me 1 hour to recover from the shock of getting poked and drawing blood..i cried like a BABY but i am not ashamed oh no ma'am....ah i have a headache...adios!"
