I don't know; that's why I asked you.Wormwood scrubs, what do you think
I suspect this is a quote, as you do not believe in galaxies, nor the Hubble telescope. There are an estimated 200 billion to 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe, with newer estimates suggesting the number could be even higher, potentially reaching 6 to 20 trillion, especially when including smaller satellite galaxies. These numbers are based on deep-field observations from telescopes like the Hubble Space Telescope and account for a fraction of what current technology can detect.
You haven't given a reference for this, but it's from Revelation 6:13 and is talking about after the 6th seal is opened.King James Bible
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind
Your point?
Once again, the lack of quotation marks means that you are passing someone else's words off as you own. That is theft.
Well you haven't read Revelation 6:13 then, have you?Given in post #2.500
But someone else still wrote it.For one it is not anybody else's work it is just basic info found on the net, check it it out if you don't believe me.
Of course it's literal, it what Jesus also states in Mathew 24 .Always assuming that this is literal, of course.
But someone else still wrote it.
You wouldn't write that there are X number of galaxies because you don't believe in them.
Well then, it's something that happens after the 6th seal.Of course it's literal, it what Jesus also states in Mathew 24 .
That's not the point. The point was that it wasn't you, so you should have put quotation marks to show that you were quoting someone else.Well I don't know who, do you ?
That doesn't explain anything.AS explained in post #2,500.
If you were quoting somebody else, you should have said so, or at least put the words in speech marks/quotation marks/inverted commas, or whatever you call these things: " "I was just trying to make a point as this is what they tell us, if true how are all the stars going to fall from heaven as it states in the Bible.
But the point is, the idea of billions or trillions of stars is not what you believe. However, your post did nothing to indicate that you were stating somebody else's belief. That is why both Strong in Him and I were puzzled. For one it is not anybody else's words it is just basic info found on the net, check it out if you don't believe me.
However, your post did nothing to indicate that you were stating somebody else's belief. That is why both Strong in Him and I were puzzled.
If you were not actually quoting somebody else, but were just stating what some people say to be fact, it would have helped to avoid misunderstanding if you had started your post: "Some people claim that there are billions, even trillions of stars....." As it stands, there is nothing in your post to indicate that it was not you saying it.
So your comment that there can't be trillions of stars in the sky because they could not all fall to earth,
Thanks. Perhaps something to remember for future posts. My apologies.
Once again my apologies.
I know it's your point exactly. But it's illogical, and you are supposed to think logically. My point exactly.
There ARE trillions of stars in the sky.
Well of course - he made them.King James Bible
He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Psalms 147:4
Yes - and how many people are there in the world?King James Bible
He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Psalms 147:4
God used the stars to birth faith in Abram, too. When God told Abram to look at the expanse and try to count the stars, He promised him, “Your offspring will be that numerous” (Genesis 15:5).
Yes - and how many people are there in the world?
Now, maybe - since Abraham?7 billion not 7 trillion.
