God sent a stray cat to our house, that it may find a home, where it is cared for loved and lives in safety.

She is a tortiseshell colored female, desexed.
She was a bit scrawny to begin with, and had obviousley been wandering the streets for some time, when she discovered that our back yard had no resident cat or dog, so she claimed it as her territory.

I was aware that she was around our back yard, because I over heard her fighting off other wandering cats, and while I had heard her moving through the bushes I was yet to see her after a week.

About 9 days after she moved into our back yard, she had become so hungry, that she became brave enough to come out from underneath my car in our driveway, and inquire at me....

I had nice big bowl of food waiting for her, which she tucked into immediatly....we have since set up an old Dog kennel on our back porch filled with old but clean towels for her to snuggle down into at night.

We have had her down to the local vet to have her immunised....

Some 9 months later we now have one very fat very content cat....

We have named her Watermelon...because she looks like a Watermelon on 4 legs.

What a blessed gift from God she is......
