  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

An update of where we are at in restoring CF to its former features...

Hey Irwin! I wanted to add my thanks for the great site! I have no problem with losing the games or the 'blessings' (I could never wrap my brain around using 'blessings' as a 'commodity', lol...). And just to add to your list of things to think about, I just noticed that my Buddy list is not exactly as long as it was before the crash, lol...I'm wondering if others have noticed this as well..i'd better get busy, and figure out who all is missing ...again, my thanks for this wonderful site!!

I remember that in the old CF you could condense the forum categories if you didn't want to view the threads in them. Is this feature coming back? It seemed to make it easier to focus on the threads you were interested in and ignore the ones you weren't.

BTW, Great job with the restoration.

i miss the blessings.i had over 5000.....that's ok though...we have the site back up and running now
