Thank you for answering my question.
You are welcome... it is amazing that Iranians have crossed the border and even shelled Iraq and we hear nothing about that- only the accusations and evidence they are supplying militias in Iraq ?

We should do like the air force wants to do in a few newspaper articles I read recently - covert coal to oil. The air force wants to be as independent of foreign energy as possible. Now you'd think the greenies would love this, but I don't think they do (correct me of I'm wrong on this). In terms of Coal - we have the Saudi Arabia of the world right here in the American midwest. Not only that, but here in the Powder River Basin and beyond, is the cleanest burning coal in the hemisphere - very low sulfur. When they convert the coal to oil, the CO2 is reclaimed and pumped to the oil fields making the oil far easier to access.

Right now crude oil from the middle east is around $118.00 per barrel, but oil made from coal here in our own country can be produced for only $55.00 per barrel. This is not new technology, the Germans did it in WWII, the South Africans have been doing it for decades - making them oil independant. And we have like a 200 year supply of oil made from coal.

In the article about the Air Force, they tested this synthetic oil/fuel that was made from coal and found no difference whatsoever in performance.

I also found this 5 minute video, with the governor of Montana, that explains it alot better:
