Happy Birthday Joy Everlasting.

How many chapters is the most finished story so far? That way we can establish a limit without making it so that one of you did any unneccessary writing.

Judges, you have until... June 10th. Does that sound okay to everyone? Or what are some other suggestions for a deadline?

Sounds good to me. And I only have three chapters, because I am way too busy right now to finish my fourth!

I think that I've got the most chapters with six. I you want to make it less than that it's ok with me though...I'm probably going to just keep on putting up the rest of the story long after the contest is over (assuming I'm allowed to do that).

I'm still working on chapter three, because it keeps on getting erased.
I hope it's okay to keep posting chapters after the contest; there's no way I could finish this story by June 10th.

I think it will be more than ok to keep putting up CH. for your stories. Please do finish the stories, they are all awesome, and I'd love to see how they end.
can we make the deadline June 14 or 15? I am going to be gone that weekend before, so I wont be able to get on, but anytime after the 14th is great for me.

Is the contest still goin on? I just found this post, and I love to write! It doesnt have any significance, but i like to write sword/dragon type stuff. But do I have time? And how long? Does it gotta be a full story? :\

Six is the maximum, you can have less than that if you want. And what do you contestants think? Should the contest still be open? You'd have to post a prologue, your character information, and several chapters by June 10th. Cutting it awful close if you ask me.

Don't worry, if there's a demand, I'm sure we could always start a second contest.

No, it's not a short story contest. The contest is just ending before the stories do. You can keep on adding chapters after June 10th, they just won't be part of this contest. At least, that's what I understood.

Elohir, I think that the contest should still be open.

Thanks Joy Everlasting or telling me. Also, I already started my story but since I was not sure if I could join I did not put AC after it. If everyone agrees that people can join late, could someone tell me how to do that?

No no no. It's not a short story thing. Although you can enter a short story if you want. The six chapters is just so that we can have an end to the contest and it doesn't go on forever and ever.

And yeah, the contest is still open, so post those stories and put in AC after the title!
