Go to the third definition on that page, and the second definition on the next page (7). They both had me in stitches of laughter. Then again, the only Nirvana album that I can actually enjoy is Unplugged (and half the album is covers).

OP: I'd go with AiC, followed closely by Soundgarden. The only Nirvana album that I can enjoy is Unplugged.

And if one is into supergroups...Temple of the Dog, anyone?

LOL
Alot of people on that site compared them to the Pixies, but I just don't see it. The Pixies would be hard to imitate and come even close to capturing their wierdness (wierd in a good way I think). I know Kurt was influenced by them, and he may have tried to rip them off, but they seem completely different to me.

I didn't get into AIC, Nirvana and Soundgarden until they'd already been around for quite awhile, but they were and still are some of my favorite bands. I liked Nirvana best for a long time, but now I think I like Soundgarden best. I think I like their lyrics best out of all 3. I really like the guitar alot in AIC. Somehow I think Nirvana was the most personal and direct. I also think some of the live songs on the Wishkah cd are insanely good.
