It truly does, doesn't it?Allowing others to exercise their rights as defined by law? Sounds downright American to me.
Absolutely.Only if you excuse me for not wanting a theocratic form of government in the U.S. as you seem to desire.
Just so I'm clear about your sarcasm, you are making fun of people because they are from Alabama?I'm surprised to find out the Alabamans keep the Sabbath (/sarcasm)
By the way, the Sabbath command was given to the nation of Israel only.
It sometimes seems like some people have a different view as to what being an American should mean.Allowing others to exercise their rights as defined by law? Sounds downright American to me.
What would that reason be, in your humble opinion? There's probably a reason Alabama is the butt of so many jokes.
Just so I'm clear about your sarcasm, you are making fun of people because they are from Alabama?
God isn't religion but what each person believes about God is religion. If one group is allowed to express their religious views, then all groups have to be allowed to express their religious views in the same format or it is a violation of civil rights.Read about it HERE.
I first saw this on some of the news stations that post on Facebook. The comments that followed were expected: “That’s unconstitutional!” “Freedom from/of religion!”
Wait.
Freedom of Religion?
God is not religion. Of all the things God said He was: Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Prince of Peace, and so many other names, He never said, “I am religion.” He is God. He exists, He is in control, and He will do what He wants. It is only because of His great mercy that people walking around in a world-induced stupor thinking they are God’s chosen haven’t been destroyed. He is angry with the wicked every day! (Psalm 7:11)
Those opposed say it will be challenged and overruled again in the supreme court, but the SCOTUS is different this time. They also say that if we let Christians erect monuments, we have to let devil worshippers erect monuments as well. The wording of the amendment will probably prevail over that suggestion. Besides, when did “It is written” ever get trumped by the devil?
I cannot even care if this is an unpopular side of the fence to so many. It is exactly what America needs. I hope it takes root in Alabama and spreads all over these United States!

Haha...I guess that's why they are not titled "Ten Laws for the US." Enjoy your coffee and your Easter!I'm pretty sure only 2 of the 10 are actually illegal in America (murder and stealing) false witness is sort of illegal but only under certain cases. the other 7 aren't illegal. If they'd like to build monuments to support "The 2 Commandments" I might see the point of this, other wise it just seems a little silly to build a monument to something that is actually only 1/5 illegal here.
tulc(is sipping some very nice coffee on this fine Easter!)
Adultery is technically still illegal in many US states, but the laws are not enforced.I'm pretty sure only 2 of the 10 are actually illegal in America (murder and stealing) false witness is sort of illegal but only under certain cases. the other 7 aren't illegal.
