Your not even attempting to apply any sort of intelligence on this particular topic. What you’re doing is ignoring passages that conflict with your scientific beliefs. This is why they crucified Jesus, because they did not want to give up their traditional understanding of the Bible which was in error. Jesus' teachings challenged the religious authorities of his time and called for a deeper understanding of God's law and the true meaning of faith. Some religious leaders, threatened by Jesus' message and authority, viewed him as a threat to their own power and authority.

I chose those examples because they were examples of miracles that defy science. The point of asking if you believe in these events was to determine whether or not you believe they actually took place. Obviously you didn’t choose Matthew 18:8-9 because it’s an example of a miracle that defied science because there’s no mention of any miracles or anything contradictory to science in that passage and certainly your point wasn’t to determine whether or not I thought this event actually took place. So I fail to see the correlation between these two very different posts.
