  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I hope this is an ok place to post this! (I'm assuming so since not all the posts here are "Religion Related"!)

I got my tongue pierced tonight ... it didn't hurt at all and hasn't swollen much... but I am curious as to any advice anyone may have for quick recovery!

Luckily I gave up soda for lent (I drank an average of 5 cans a day) so I don't have that problem... but I'm a kool aid addict and so everytime I drink a glass I run to rinse my mouth! It's horrible!

I'm on day 5 and the swelling has gone down a lot and no sign of infection!! (YAY) although the girl I did it with had hers taken out yesterday because of infection...so I'm just thankful I took care of mine!
