I'll be odd man out. As I don't see that the 6 days were 24 hr. days. I have many reasons, perhaps the same amount of reasons that those who believe it was 24 hr. days. Regardless of what our perspective is, we still believe in Christ our Lord. I found this a good read, and for those who would like to study on this here it is. I'm still reading it myself so can't say what I think I agree or disagree with with.

I briefly read the article, basically explores a few different views of world age. I already posted why I tend to believe the scripture points to 3 earth ages. I guess what people seem to be working around is the creation of man.. I personally do not believe we evolved Evolution is more flawed than 6 000 year earth. It would take a mass extinction and recreation to remove all the continuing different phases of animal to man. No an ape is an ape a fish is a fish and a man is a man...

I do also have a believe with supporting scripture of the sixth day creation being not 1 person but, all the races...

God bless

I'd like to see that supporting scripture. Never heard that theory before.

Hi knockout,

Yes, and then there is that understanding. Truth can be just whatever one believes it to be.

God bless you.
In Christ, Ted.

There is evidence which is being ignored. So long as the church persists in living in darkness, which is not knowing the truth about our distant past, our people will be locked in a prison.

What is your basis for making such an extreme statement? Jesus said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." And in Christ we are free because he is free. Who are you to say so arrogantly that the church lives in darkness, locked in prison thereby directly contradicting the words of our Lord?

The Church is not the pure bride Jesus is expecting when he arrives.

Most Christians in North America at least, and I mean around 70-90%, do not have a biblical world view. They do not understand the times, have not read the bible, and are not living lives in line with the Word. They are lukewarm. American Christians have come under judgement and their government has fallen to tyranny just like what happened to Israel.

Today we see around us a heartless cold world and this is the product of love growing cold and people putting out the fire of the spirit - there is always a remnant, but the majority are not in a place that pleases God.

Allowing lies to propagate through the schools and churches only compounds this problem and those who facilitate these lies and try defend them are not marching in the same army.

What is the source of your information, or is it just your opinion? Have you interviewed 70-90% of American Christians? Do you know whether they read the bible or not? How are their lives not in line with the Word?

I really don't want to address the rest of your post since it is so negative, biased, and subjective. In case you haven't read the bible, 1 John4:7-12 says "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us."

Stop your arrogance and condemnation and trying being more like our savior.

Various sources that I have seen over the years, that could be linked if necessary. Another (shouldn't be) shocking statistic is the number of Christian men addicted to porn, which is at around the same number - 70% (or at least it was a couple years ago and doubtful it has changed)

You don't have to read the rest of my post, if you perceive it as negative or whatever you can read what you want

Hi knockout,

I'd never thought of anyone not knowing the truth as being locked in a prison. I'd just always thought of it as not knowing the truth and therefore not having understanding of the things that are based on a particular truth. To use a worldly example: One might have a great amount of truth about how the brain works and be a great brain surgeon. However, that same person may know very little truth about how to prepare a surface for painting and be a terrible painter.

Maybe you'd consider posting the evidence that is being ignored.

God bless you.

Hi Ted

I'd love to do that. But its a process that will take time to work through. I've spent years researching earth pre history and wouldn't know where to start, best I can often do is try motivate people, to tell them how important it is to do research.

Everything that I've found out about how we came here and who was here before us has shocked me, and honestly its a difficult burden to see Christians walking about blindly in this area.

One tid bit today that I learned about is how strong glass is in outer space. There is evidence that before the flood man had space colonies on the moon and on planets and used glass or crystal to build them.
[in many original photos from the Apollo missions, the outline and shimmer of immensely sized glass domes can still be seen, and is talked about in private radio transcripts recorded by HAM radio operators. Primitive 60's air brushing of motion frames when compared clearly show immense structures miles high.]

As a manufacturing engineer I found this fascinating, that we come from a race of master builders who built self sufficient societies all over the solar system.

And the crystal that they used was much stronger and tougher than steel. We are slowly re learning the advanced science the ancients took for granted.

Hi knockout,

Sorry, I didn't backtrack and read all of your posts. I see that you have given some of your evidences. Yes, you are correct, the love of most has grown cold. Yes, you are correct that many, many of those who hang the banner of 'christian' across their chests are just lying to themselves. However, this has little to do with understanding the past so much as understanding the present. All of these conditions, and the general decline of man and morals and belief in the truth, have been foretold as the evidences that the we are inexorably moving towards the days that the Scriptures speak of as the last of the last days.

However, we don't know how bad it will get. We can't look at these precursors of the last days and know with any accuracy how close we are to the day written of in the Revelation of Jesus, as we have divided it, chapter 14. We, believers, can only look at these attitudes and beliefs and know with assurance that it is coming. We can look at these attitudes and beliefs and know that Paul was correct in his assessment of mankind in the first chapter of his letter to the Romans. We can also see that the days that Paul warned Timothy of are here, but we don't know how bad it will get.

What I believe Paul does give us as a signpost that we are right at the end of the last days is what he told the Thessalonians in what we have divided as chapter 2. That day written of in the Revelation, chapter 14, will not come until the man of lawlessness is revealed. The born again believers will recognize him. They will know and understand that sign.

God bless you.
In Christ, Ted

It is evident to me that thousands of years ago factory cities were built on the moon and other bodies. Everything about manufacturing in outer space makes more sense. Castings have zero porosity and in near zero G, the mechanical properties are dramatically changed.

What's more is this talk about the inability to sustain the human race is donkey. The domed cities on the moon were designed to be self sufficient and enclose mountainous areas of ecology. It would make sense for us to return there and learn this science and send our manufacturing there and turn Earth into a clean planet.

But a cosmic event destroyed this ancient civilization.

This difficult area of research needs more Christ powered people looking into it because while the secular world is finding out, they are unable to really pack the kind of punch we can by praying for light to be shed into darkness especially what the government has hidden so far.

I suggest you read the book by Jonathan Cahn the Harbinger, where he outlines the 9 harbingers as evidence America is undergoing the same model of judgment as occured to Israel when they rebelled. America was built upon the Jewish model, right down to George Washington signing the founding documents under the sycamore tree at the future site of the twin towers.

Everything is on a timetable and measurable. While the day and hour of Jesus actual return is not known, many other dates can be discerned and that includes blood moons, Jewish sabbaths, feast of tabernacles and Jubilee years. These next two years will see a great war in the middle East - it has started already with Putin, in accordance with the first blood moon in April of this year.

Americas finance system is collapsing on Jewish sabbaths in accordance with the blessing/curse of Deuteronomy.

Check the Jewish calendar and test me on that... it will get interesting.

Hi knockout,

Well, I guess I'll have to remain one locked in prison if I'm going to have to believe that to earn my escape. Sorry, friend, but I'll certainly look over your evidence if you'd like.

God bless you.

I think that it means that the earth was basically lame and it only had water all over the surface, so no land what so ever.

Perhaps, the earth was not really a particular shape, just a piece of object floating about, and then God formed it to be a sphere.

Amazing, what God can do!

I don't expect you to readily buy it, but having done homework on this stuff its my job to gauge the response and see how far we have to go...

Hi knockout,

Yes well, I don't think I can get there from here.

God bless you.

It's not living in darkness. I totally disagree with that statement.
Locked in a prison? No that too is just folly.

Why on earth (the old earth ) would people take such a staunch tone about Creationism?
Some people who are against doctrine don't realize that they create doctrine on this issue. Usually it's the 6,000 year crowd. Just read the General Theology forum.

Speaking of evolution though...which I don't think is a real phenomenon, I was listening to Adrian Rogers on the radio today.
He was talking about it, and then stated "Why do people always want to make monkeys out of themselves?"
I laughed.
