Last night in a matter of 2 hours I was going to friends house and came upon a garbage can in the road. I was going so fast, was not even sure what it was at first. I gripped the steering wheel and laid easy on the brake. I was hydroplaningon this garbage can down a dark road going about 50 mph. I was on the phone with my mom and I started shouting MOM!!!! I'm sliding down the road!!!!! I hardly remember getting off the phone with her. I finally come to stop and a man got under the truck for me and pulled out the garbage can. It did not look like a garbage can at all.
On my way home as I was a few miles away when I went around a curve, looked down at my phone and the next thing I know, I had come face to face with a tree that had fallen down completely covering both sides of the road and ditch. The power went out for a little while and my husband said that it must have been that tree that had fallen. Power lines were on the road and I was so upset and scared that when I called 911, I could not remember where I was for almost 15 minutes. Gliding on a garbage can down the road is one thing, but coming face to face with a tree is another. My husband said I can no longer go off on my own at night. He will just drop me off instead. Wow, last night was quite interesting. :o:o:o
