Mary is not a mediator, she can't hear us nor intervene in any way.
Anyone being caught up in this stuff is caught in a great deception, and will someday pay a tremendous price.
Bow before Jesus, and Jesus alone, our only mediator.

Satan stages false healings, or removes his crippling effects at the right time to give Apparitions the credit, to keep the people fooled.
Fatima is a tool Satan uses once in a while to fake a healing to keep the people deceived and these threads seem to indicate his effectiveness.

Luke never states such a thing. That is by far the worse thing I've ever heard used to support Marian doctrine, outright falsity.

Man, the guidelines on this web board are constraining. I wish I could call Marian apparitions what they really are; but I assume that would be too offensive (I'm a newbie so don't want to tick anyone off -- too much anyway).

St Thomas was human...and Christ said to him...
You believe because you have seen - blessed are they that believe but have not seen.

I fully believe in the promise Christ laid down when He said errors from satan would not enter His Church [His doctrines] and so it shall be.
Whether East, West, North or South, He shall protect the doctrines for all time.

And given the extent of how close we are related to the Oriental Orthodox - the Coptics, and the Eastern Orthodox in keeping the Traditions of Mary, this is utter proof that our doctrines remain ...

As for apparitions, they happen. IN each Church.
Such as the Egyptian Coptic Church who had the apparition appear for 2 years...converting Muslims...and millions to Christianity.

Mary is only given the task to give us Heavenly messages so we grow closer to Christ.
And in honor of Him, she is allowed to have Churches or temples named after her.

For we think of nothing else but Christ when we honor her.

this is false .. For all scripture is breathed by God not Mary. Lets read what scripture says and not what someone has told you...
2Pe 1:20 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation,
2Pe 1:21 for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

To intercede is to go or come between two parties, to plead before one of them on behalf of the other. In the New Testament it is used as the equivalent of entygchanein (Vulgate interpellare, in Hebrews 7:25). "Mediation" means a standing in the midst between two (contending) parties, for the purpose of bringing them together (cf. mediator, mesites, 1 Timothy 2:5). In ecclesiastical usage both words are taken in the sense of the intervention primarily of Christ, and secondarily of the Blessed Virgin and the angels and saints, on behalf of men. It would be better, however, to restrict the word mediation to the action of Christ, and intercession to the action of the Blessed Virgin, the angels, and the saints. In this article we shall briefly deal with: I. the Mediation of Christ; and at more length with, II. the intercession of the saints.

In considering the Mediation of Christ we must distinguish between His position and His office. As God-man He stands in the midst between God and man partaking of the natures of both, and therefore, by that very fact, fitted to act as Mediator between them. He is, indeed, the Mediator in the absolute sense of the word, in a way that no one else can possibly be. "For there is one God, and one mediator of God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). He is united to both: "The head of every man is Christ... the head of Christ is God" (1 Corinthians 11:3). His office of Mediator belongs to Him as man, His human nature is the principium quo, but the value of His action is derived from the fact that it is a Divine Person Who acts. But, besides bringing man nigh unto God, Christ brings God nigh unto man, by revealing to man Divine truths and commands He is the Apostle sent by God to us and the High-Priest leading us on to God (Hebrews 3:1). Even in the physical order the mere fact of Christ'sexistence is in itself a mediation between God and man. By uniting our humanity to His Divinity He united us to God and God to us. As St. Athanasius says, "Christ became man that men might become gods" ("De Incarn.", n. 54; cf. St. Augustine, "Serm. De Nativitate Dom."; St. Thomas, III, Q. i, a. 2). And for this Christ prayed: "That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee. . . . I in them, and thou in me; that they may be made perfect in one" (John 17:21-23). But the laity have used for her, means that she goes to Christ with our petitions.

If ever there were fables fit only for old women, these are prime examples.
