A Treasury of Light

This is a very interesting story. I was able to venerate the Icon of Iveron at the Aargyle Street Church of The Holy Protection of Mary here in Los Angeles.

When I first venerated the Icon, I wasn't very repentant. My sins flashed before me and I repented, then I went to venerate the Icon a second time and the Icon grew light so that I could see the myrrh gushing from it. The fragrance was heavenly - a bouquet of flowers. The priest gave me a little to take home on a piece of cotton. It remained fragrant for more than two months. Occasionally the whole bedroom would be filled with the bouquet of flowers. It was simply miraculous.
