I like Annihiliation. [That's so spelled wrong...] hehe...
I have only their first album, most of the songs on there sound pretty cool...I like them. They have good vocals, and...I especially like the percussion and rhythm.

Why do you like them [sort of]?

APC is awesome.

Their cover of Imagine put it in the depressing context it belongs in. They made that horribly hypocrictical song into a straight forward dark-depressing anthem of justice. Tool is better, but APC is real good.

i havent really heard many of their songs. but i do like Weak and Powerless. i would get their cd but i dont know if they cuse and i dont know if their anti-christ or not.
Well, alot can be said about their messages and what they try and portray in their music. If you've heard the song "Judith" (which I'm assuming you haven't, since you say you haven't heard much), you may answer your own question there. But then again, I have no idea myself, either.

Yeah...I haven't heard much of Tool, but I'm into A Perfect Circle, most of what I've heard of them at least off of their 2003 album. [eMOTIVe] I have heard Judith, I thought 'twas pretty good song. That is, however, my op <<nonchristian p.o.v. heh

enlighten me on Tool some more if you can, I know nothing about them...

tool has the same singer, but the band is better. they make more complex music, which is centered around danny carey's drumming. I would highly recommend the cd Lateralus. it's one of the deepest albums i own.

tool can be addicting. let me tell you.

tool are better if you like the dark, heavy, rythm sound better then the softer vocal driven sound of a perfect circle. they both are incredibly good bands, i think tool are the better songwriters though. a perfect circle are good for easy listening... tool are good all the time.

the first song i ever heard from tool was stinkfist. i was hooked instantly... so if you can get a hold of that song, try it out.

Tool sounds awesome, I might buy one of their albums. [I just bought Golden Age of the Grotesque by Marilyn Manson...so I'm preoccupied right now, heh] but I'll see if anyone around here owns any of their albums that I could listen to, or if you know any links that would be helpful..

My favorite Tool album is Aenima. Although Lateralus is a masterpiece as someone earlier stated, I prefer Aenima to it. My favorite Tool song of all time? H or Lateralus. I used to love Opiate but after awhile I realized the lyrics were too much for me to handle so I got rid of that album in general.
