Many do claim that God talks to them. Can you tell us how a person who believes in God knows in fact it is God who is talking and not their mind playing tricks on them?
All Christians, all religious people, will agree: Something their God (gods) simply won't do.
That is an intrinsic nature (or definition) of any god.
Were you Lutheran?
I was a Catholic, although it's not impossible that I was influenced by Lutheran thought.
eudaimonia,
Mark
Cool, just saw the Sweden flag.
Really? ALL religious people? ALL?
You've shot any remaining credibility you might have had in the foot. Not only have I known such Christians, I used to be such a Christian.
No, it really isn't. Gods are supernatural creators and/or orderers of the natural universe. There is nothing to prevent a god from influencing non-believers by either (super)nature or definition.
eudaimonia,
Mark
OK, what else? Is that all a god is?
Even no more than what you said, would that god make "disorder" since he is a orderer?
If one is a god, then he will not do something. You are not a god, so you could do anything. Or, you may call yourself a god who would do anything. Or you have something you won't do, so you become a god.
That is not my problem. I am not a biologist.
Exactly who does the word "we" in the second sentence of the second paragraph refer to? Exactly how do these people know that love is a chemical reaction? An admirable goal to live one's life for love for sure. Interesting.
I guess I wonder what you think generates the feeling of love then? We know about the biology of our brains well enough to know it is a chemical reaction, how does this fit in with this worldview?
Exactly how do these people know that love is a chemical reaction?

Well, it becomes a problem for you, when you make the claim below and can not back it up with evidence.
You can do an experiment: Put two identical twin (just born or even in the womb) in exactly the same environment for one day. Then test what have they learned from the environment.
I bet they learned different thing.
Can you explain why?
Didn't answer my question.

You do not understand how does science work.
Suppose I suspected that you were making this stuff up. Could you give a proper citation for your claim?Neuroscientists in understanding how the brain works, record that when feeling the emotion "love" exhibit specific chemicals in the brain. One could then simulate this emotion by introducing those chemicals into the brain to determine if they are correlated or causally connected. Turns out to be causal in nature.
