Sure it does. Eventually CF will be comprised of whatever denomination prevails.

Please hear my heart when I say this.... I don't intend to minimialize your feelings in any way, shape or form...nor do I desire to in anyway not express my thoughts in anything but love and appreciation toward you as my brother in Christ!

HOWEVER... "thank yous" are overrated and often glib. Mothers can tell you that most jobs worth their time and effort are the ones most often overlooked when it comes around to receiving a "thank you".

I go back to my original thought on this matter. If your service has been unto the Lord, your reward is in laying your crown at His feet... Hearing HIM say "well done good and faithful servant" will be so much better than what Erwin or any man, woman, boy or girl on this site could ever express!!!!

Considering the amount of time, energy, stress and most tangibly personal money that Erwin has spent on this site, I don't see what there is for him to 'get.' This was always 'his' site irrespective of how big it was & how structured the staff apparatus was.

Anyways... I very much look forward to these changes. I used to post on CF ALL the time (this account was registered when I was 13 or something) and I really haven't been around much over the last year & a half... I expect that these changes will bring me back!

There are staffers that have given months, years to this site who now are put to a vote...
Give me a break. Do you think they are well liked by the majority of folks around here that they have warned?
Even so they have worked so hard that now they may loose their position on staff which becomes like a second job to many with many close friends.
Now modding is being given up to the heathens by most popular vote..

This place is a joke. This is now a secular website..

Every single member in this place owes you and all the other moderators more than just a thank you. You all have done work that would earn money and a lot more praise in other jobs.

Please don't think I am putting down the mods here. I have to say the right thing though whether it's popular to say or not. The mods are the ones who have kept this place going for years. Just take that investment of time and work and put it in God's 401k.

I myself have donated hundreds of dollars to CF and have given close to a year in mod service. I would hope Erwin cared about my opinion at least a little bit. I'm not trying to say I'm above someone or special, but without our support and our work, there would be no CF.

Are they losing their friends? Are you not able to be friends unless you both are "important" or a moderator? There's PMs, email, IMs.... or do you need an elusive forum to communicate?

Whey!

Broadly this is great stuff- obviously there are a number of practical considerations that spring to mind in implementing this, some of which have already been raised - but hopefully they'll get ironed out in the process - if Erwin hasn't got a plan up his sleeve already.

Good luck Erwin, praying that you get this thing done. An ambitious project, but I'm sure you can do it.
