A Need To Process Our Experiences

Hi HAW - how is the little one doing this evening?

I went to Church (Bible Study) again.
Three Sundays in a row. (A record!)
The class is awesome.
It grew from 6 people the first class to 24 people in this class.
The teacher used to be a pastor.
He can quote Scripture - chapter and verse.
It is so much fun to hear him talk and tell stories.
I'll post more on Experiencing God tomorrow.

I've been cleaning house like crazy.
First of all - I can't believe I have had this much energy as I usually don't have energy at all.
So that in itself has been exciting to me!

All in all it has been a good productive weekend!

Also, my daughter and I are going to go on a cruise together with a couple of other families the week of Thanksgiving. I'm so excited about having her all to myself and spending time with some friends just doing something really fun like this.
I've never been on a cruise before - what kind of advice do you all have to share with me???

We're going to swim with the dolphins!!!!

How was the homecoming dance Luv?
How's your staff infection doing?

I also had a car problem this weekend.
On the way home Friday, my radio went out and I thought - oh gee - I'm going to have to buy a new radio! Then the car just sounded funny, kind of whiney.
Then the inside dash lights went out.
I got home, parked it and tried to restart it and it was dead.
So I got a new battery and my son-in-law to be put it in for me.
I went to Church today (the first time I drove it) and it started doing the same thing. So I just drove it directly to the dealership without stopping and dropped the key in the overnight for them to look at it tomorrow. Once I stopped it there I tried to restart it - and it was dead.

Sounds expensive huh?

Sounds like the alternator....it charges the battery as the engine runs. When that no longer works, your battery drains down to nothing!

One thing you can do when your battery dies like that is have an auto parts store check it. They will tell you if it can hold a charge or not. (takes a while, bc they recharge it) If it can, then it is something other than the battery causing the problem!

Fell asleep on the sofa again. I have to knock this off!!

I have a lot of dishes to do. I literally cooked all afternoon. I made two lasagnas and had my mom and my one sister and her family over to dinner. I invited all my sibs, but only the one could make it. It was nice. But the mess! And I clean as I go....

Glad tomorrow's a day off!

I took her to the dr. after her last illness 1 week ago, he told me that because we are new to this area we are going to have a rough winter as far as illnesses go. She has been sick everyday since school started, and i have been sick almost as long.

I swear kids are little germ incubators

Oh gosh, unfortunately that makes a lot of sense! I remember those times, and not all that fondly!

Well, then I guess the best thing you can do is the whole rest and vitamins thing as a way of life. I remember that helping us get through those years much better!

HI all!!!
Good to see the guys up there at the top of the page, too!!

My van just got towed into the shop; don't know what is wrong yet.
I am in good hands and right now I am praising and worshipping God for He is so good.

My life has truly turned around and I want to Praise Him!!

can i ask you guys to say a quick prayer for my munchkin. Iam on my way to taking her to the ER. Her fever spiked to 103 andshe is having trouble breathing, she's very congested.
