7th Heaven

Ok this show is now on during the day-time and as my work hours are weird, most of the time I can watch it. So... what do you guys think of 7th Heaven?

The episode today was the one where Lucy gave birth in the elevator at the department store. Didn't she just announce that she was pregnant a few episodes ago? Wow, those 9 months just flew by!

I never used to like it, but it's growing on me, just as something light to watch during the day (as apposed to those awful soapies).

So...thoughts anyone? Anyone a fan?

I used to watch it, but I think it IS too much of a soap opera to watch lol!!

We watch it all the time. What you're watching are re-runs so they may be out of order. Of course on TV pregnancies are shorter and kids grow up a lot faster.

I think it was on once and I fell asleep during it.

LOL so you didn't like it?

I'm not a huge fan but compared to what else is on TV (we're getting some sort of reality American love show at the same time ), it's probably the most interesting.

My husband and I used to watch it pretty faithfully every week, but then we got out of the habit of doing so (I think it was in competition with something else we watched or it changed times/days or something) and we just never quite got back into it.

My wife and I used to watch it, but we don't consider cable a priority and believe advertising to be pretty evil (my faith more than strong enough to handle South Park and other jokes and such, but I can't believe that my subconcious is completely impregnable to ads that are designed by professionals to manipulate the worst parts of me). Once it wasn't being shown locally, we stopped watching it. Now we subscribe to an online streaming service...it would be cool if they started showing it, but it isn't likely.

Do you know why they are stopping the show? Is it going to "end" properly? That's really weird. Just as I think I might like it, lol.

It needed to be done.. they recycled most of their storylines the last couple years, but despite that we pretty much watched it for the entire run,

I didn't realize it wasn't on "free" tv in so many places. It's on WB here.. although without cable the only thing we can get around here is NBC.....

7th Heaven used to be WAY better. If you can check out the older ones I think you'd like it even more.
