And the fact that is doesn’t makes it a contradiction unto itself. And further more if we were to use the sola, sola scripture- that sola is the sola that tells us that 4 of the 5 sola’s are false. Which then is ironic because the only sola that is found in scripture- grace alone, is the sola that the Church teaches, thus making Catholic doctrine biblically sound.

What’s that, that Dr. Scott Hahn, former 5 sola believing Presbyterian minister said? “Being a bible believing Christian required me to become Catholic.”

I have often wonder to myself, and just who were these men you call “reformers” to reform anything? Who were they to tell us the Church that was established by Jesus Christ was wrong and they were right introducing new doctrines to us. I mean again, if I am going to use the “reformers” rule of faith, their doctrine of sloa scripture… I can’t believe the reformation because using their rule, the Church was not built on them but on Peter. So again, I’m left with the doctrine of the reformers leading me to the Church and not to the reformation.

I'm not biting this hook. I know all to well how things on this particular board work. The only reason I posted in the first place was because you were asking a non-Calvinist about Calvinism, I figured I should answer that.

No one is baiting you, you don't have to answer- we're just making a point. We have all read and are familiar with the solas. The solas are not the problem. Christ alone saves, God alone is glorified, faith alone does not save however but you get the point. It is what each Protestant doctrine the sola represents that we disagree with. The reformers position of sola scripture just simply contradicts what it is supposed to represent.
