  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

You made two exact threads you silly monkey.

It was good film action wise. A little short with the writing though.

Imagery was awesome. Captivated me immediately on seeing the first trailer alone.
Lol I saw that, I was trying to decide which one to post on

It was okay, it was just too graphic for me. I liked the filming; it almost looked comic-booky in some areas. I liked the story too, and I like Gerard Butler as an actor. Just too much blood and nudity to put it on my list of favs.
The trailers were great, weren't they?

"There's no reason why we can't be civil," lol.

I was like......ahhhh that's a shame in a Jerry Seinfeld kind of way lol.

it almost looked comic-booky in some areas.
I think it were those scenes that captivated me the most. They just looked soooo perfect. Like the part where the ships got all smashed up amongst the rocks there.

I liked the story too, and I like Gerard Butler as an actor.
Well I saw this guy at first in the trailer and I'm like "who is this loudmouth" heheh. I vaguely remember him in Tomb Raider but for the most part, this is the film that caught my attention of him. A very good actor.

The trailers were great, weren't they?
Yep, loved the trailers for it the minute I saw it.

The Persian King was great too. Loved the sound of his voice as he spoke and how he made sure to pronounce with an emphasis everything perfectly. The courageous Gerard Butler was not intimidated the least when he layed his giant hands on his shoulders. Loved that scene.

Hey that's a great pic! I don't remember that from the movie; must have missed it somehow. I had no idea Gerard Butler was in Tomb Raider! That's bizarre. I just knew of him from Phantom of the Opera (AMAZING singing voice) and Dear Frankie (great actor). I can only recognize him by his voice, he looks so different in each movie.

The film looked absolutely amazing. I just wish that it would have been more consistent - they broke formation way too many times, after Leonidas stressed the importance of the phalanx staying together. They could have used much of that footage if they had gone with an ending more like that of "300 Spartans."

Oh, and I didn't like Xerxes either.
