I was just going through some old mobile photos earlier.
This is my nephew in the Darth Vader mask my mom got for him for Christmas. It is battery operated and when you press buttons, it makes breathing noises and says different Darth Vader phrases. He would walk around the house making the breathing noises and it was seriously creeping me out.
This was from an Irish jam night at a local coffee house. The bodhran players are my favorite and I really want to learn to play one someday.
I came across this shirt in Wild Oats one day. Had to take a picture because a verbal description never would have done justice to the weirdness.
My nephew loves taking pictures, as long as he can make silly faces in them. So we do.
These are my friends Lindsay and Cody. Cody looks almost just like Alan Ruck. He would die without text messaging. Lindsay teases him about this and started an album of pictures with Cody being anti-social by texting during group events. So then I started taking pictures when she pulled her phone out so that she could see that she does it, too.
Caught again!
This is my friend Kara, eating ice cream on a very hot summer day. We were consoling ourselves with Sonic that day trying to make up for the fact that the rest of our friends were on vacation in Florida.
This is my friend Beth, and the blurry part is a little poodle that she watches while their owners are out of town. The dog loves to be held out on her back like that, and she'll wriggle around like a lunatic animal. The poodle's name is Josephine Dynamite, but Beth got confused and told us that her name was Josephine Napoleon. I found that odd, and rightly so. I still tease Beth about that because we called her by the wrong name for a whole weekend.
This is my favorite tree. I often eat and read under it during my lunch breaks when the weather is nice.
This guy calls himself "Belvis," and he was the entertainment during a Traveler's game. He is really bad. My friend Lindsey and I saw him when we went to get a snack, and got a picture made with him for laughs. He thought we were admirers....little did he know.
This is Ben Rector, a local, opening for a Jon McLaughlin outdoor concert I went to last year. He was performing an acoustic version of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and it was awesome.
This is me and my fellow graphic design geek friend Jessica. I lub her. We were waiting for a movie to start at the downtown outdoor movie event our town puts on.
My friends and I made a cheesy poster for a friend's softball games. Her last name is "Quattlebaum," thus the clever "baum.com." We cheered and held that sign and embarrassed her thoroughly. She pretended not to like it, but she did.
This is one of my favorite people: Rob. He is a dork, and is so fun, and I smile and laugh every time we hang out. This was on a late-night trip we took to Wal-Mart to get some items for a practical joke we were going to play on a friend.
I took this picture last spring during one of my afternoon runs down my road in the country.
One time, we stayed up late eating cheese fries and watching Disney movies. It was the stuff of legend.
And then there was that other night, when we pretended like we were the Whos down in Whoville. That was also the night we hung upside down from the couches and made ourselves laugh to see if laughing upside down really was more fun than right side up.
My sister looking all artsy at the coffee shop. She's beautimous.
My nephew didn't want to put pants on him, but we insisted. I'm not even going to tell you what he asked to be put on him instead.
My friends volunteered to ring the bell and wanted to add their own special flair to the whole thing. People loved it. I brought them hot coffee and they loved me for it.
That's all!
