  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is the first time my family has met his family. His family drove down here from Indiana and they are staying until Tuesday night. They seem to get along real well and have been having a very good time together so far Honestly, my parents seem to be having more fun with them than they do some of our family!

It is a GPS from me and also my parents - we split the cost. Kirk has been in love with GPS since last year when we used one to find our way to Universal Studios and Medieval times.

Yesterday was amusing because we just kind of randomly drove around to play with it. We went to the dollar store and the mall and the only things we accomplished were having a sword fight and riding stick horses

Thanks y'all. They were very yummy! You fill the cones with cake batter and bake them in the oven like a regular cupcake, so the batter goes all the way to the bottom of the cone. I got lots of compliments on them, too. This was my first time meeting most of the people at this BBQ and they're all friends of J's mom - so it was awesome to hear them say "Jeremy's girlfriend made those cupcakes!" whenever someone would comment on them (they've never cared for any of his past girlfriends. ).

I would love to take a cake decorating class someday - I think it would be fun.


That's so cute! Y'all should try out geocaching or however it's spelled - like Spicy and Tartanarmy do.

yessss whipped cream smells so bad lol... that's why when we let our Youth Group kids water fight and stuff we use shaving cream instead... That whipped cream thing happened on an "ice cream sundae" night.. I'll have my revenge though..... MUAHAHAHAHA
