When I'm thirsty and faint
You provide me with Shade
And Living waters so deep
So cool and so blue

Conquer when I am weak
Protect me in this War

You won't let me wither

For this broken body and spirit
So the vine it is there
I should not neglect it

To be narrow but true
And see Love and not wrath
This thorn in my side
Will you take it away?

Take my anger, my fear, my hurt and my pain
Take my guilt and my sorrows
And wash them with rain
