While yet death has not come knocking
Life’s blood is circling still
Be prepared for something shocking
When truth reveals God’s will
When the Saviour calls your name out
When hearing true love’s voice
Let courage remove total doubt
And make God’s Christ your choice
Be faithful, humble in service
To Jesus on life’s throne
Whilst the world grows ever nervous
Hearing the unknown
Secrets Salvation’s few have heard
Faith’s eyes can only see
That fools and rebels think absurd
And never come to be
The fire will not elude them
Beyond their final breath
When sin, rebels to hell condemn
Finding there is no death
Will you soon, with fools be linking?
Or through God’s warning learned
Where grace will cut chains clinking
Where no man’s yet sojourned
Will wisdom, from Heaven kiss you?
Knowledge, your soul caress
