While Death Reaches Out

While grasping death is on its way
For countless joy, or sorrow
Unless one seeks, life’s gift today
Too late; could be tomorrow

Eternal life, is now, to find
Life’s crown and Heaven’s keys
To seek The Saviour of mankind
And bend to Him our knees

Salvation calls with open arms
Enabling eyes to see
With power to flee from Satan’s charms
Hindering victory

Yet faith and trust will open doors
Life’s Truth and Way make plain
Will stop the devil, close his jaws
And end his evil reign

Though consequences may remain
Darkness won’t be ignored
Devils will knock the door in vain
Where Christ, is truly Lord

Though bold, yet weak is flesh and bone
Man’s mind is plagued with sin
Repentant souls won’t live alone
When God’s Kingdom comes within

Though troubles may yet bother you
Beyond your wildest dream
Jesus, life’s Guide, will see you through
Love’s grace, will stand supreme

Knowing the grave is not the end
Make righteousness your goal
Make Christ your Lord, your God your Friend
And save your precious soul…..
