It's been a fast 2 weeks. Two weeks ago the cousins from Minneapolis came for a visit. We all had such a good time. Dan had to be out of town for it which seriously bummed me out, but I forced myself to be thankful for his job in spite of the inconvenience it causes us at times. I developed a bad cough about 3 days before they came. I mean, it was a REALLY bad cough! I felt the need to squeeze my head in order to prevent some kind of explosion. It hurt really bad, my head and my chest and throat too. Tomorrow it will be 2 weeks sinse that started and the coughing is letting up dramatically now. But for a few days there I had all kinds of gunk and junk in my chest wanting to get out.
Jim got his tonsils out less than a week ago. I felt so bad for him lying there after the surgery, all out of it and sore. He was really miserable and just not himself. He didn't want to swallow anything and that made it hard to take the pain reliever he badly needed. Plus the pain reliever is one that kind of burns as it goes down and he did not like that. Now he's just on plain Tylenol. It tastes better and doesn't hurt, and it works well enough. Jim's sleep has been sounder and more quiet. Very little snoring! No more of that awful labored breathing. He's only blown his nose a couple times I think, compared to several times a day.
Got the two aisle RSMs up at work. I really don't look forward to the day I have to put the regular card racks back iin. ugh... It will be hot, sweaty, and hard work. I hate wrestling with those clunky pieces. But the new Christmas displays look very nice. Halloween and thanksgiving are up too. I have to get the bags to go revision out and put up a few more miscellaneous Christmas items from last year. Oh, yeah, I have to send back summer and fall flex.
