John 11:35 Jesus Wept. How many times have you heard or read this verse and missed it's true meaning. Jesus wept, let me ask you this brothers and sisters; Why did Jesus weep? The answer, because of love. Now watch this; a friend of Jesus. Lazarus' sisters Mary and Martha sent word to Jesus of their brother's illness and impending death, but Jesus arrived four days after Lazarus died. Jesus, after talking to the grieving sisters and seeing Lazarus' friends weeping, was deeply troubled and moved. After being shown where Lazarus was laid, Jesus wept in front of Lazarus' tomb. He then ordered the people to remove the stone covering the tomb, prayed aloud to his Father, and ordered Lazarus to come out, resurrecting him before the mourners. First, Jesus already new he possessed the power to return Lazarus to life, so why did he weep. Jesus was moved by the Love showed by those that weep for Lazarus. Jesus saw people truly using their gift of love to love another, that's what moved our Lord. It's amazing that Our King is moved by us loving one another, he did command that we do this did he not?
Jesus said, "You must love your neighbor as yourself." Mt. 22.40
Jesus said, "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who treat you badly." Lk. 6.27-28
Jesus said, "I give you a new commandment: love one another; just as I have loved you, you also must love one another. By this love you have for one another, everyone will know that you are my disciples." Jn. 13.34-35
"Love, is all there is".Now watch this;
I Corinthians 13
Love is patient; love is kind
and envies no one.
Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;
never selfish, not quick to take offense.
There is nothing love cannot face;
there is no limit to its faith,
its hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things
that last forever: faith, hope, and love;
but the greatest of them all is love.
This is why we are working to put together the event, "Jesus across the nation". "Jesus across the nation" is a show of love for our lost brothers and sisters who have not come to Christ yet.John 21:15-17, Brothers and sisters, we are all his sheep, saved and lost alike, and we have a duty to feed our lost brothers and sisters with the Gospel. On December the 16th, Millions of Christian brothers and sisters will join together across the country and in one voice proclaim the Name of Jesus to the lost. My brother in Christ John Burley, has been blessed to give us a new rendition of the name of Jesus in art form. Visit our studio @http://www.wix.com.godspeople/jesus-across-the-nation
