Through faith, mankind can be reborn
When childlike we believe
When through Christ's death, salvation's dawn
Repentant souls receive
Two thousand years these facts have stood
Since birth and death of Christ
Salvation comes through righteous blood
Through Jesus sacrificed
The day will dawn when time has gone
When self dictates the earth
When disbelieving Christ God's Son
Rules out a second birth
When life's risen bride, is with her Groom
When the world is left behind
When souls embrace debauchery's gloom
Terror, will plague mankind
As Egypt was in days gone by
When life and limbs were cheap
Till Israel sought The Lord on high
To tend them as His sheep

Mankind will suffer pain
Blind and lost unable to see
Till Jesus comes again
