It's been said that Satan is God's messenger. And for those who have never been taught, yes Satan use to be an loving and caring Angel in God's kingdom. The story goes that he made an accusation that was incorrect so God showed him why by casting him into a snake for all the earth's time.
It's also said that in Heaven, Satan will be a cute pet/servant that will make us laugh and Satan is tamed and we tell him what to do.
God uses Satan to test us. When Jesus walked the earth, it was big Satan little Jesus. But now that we have a savior it's BIG Jesus little Satan!
