Where unforgiveness, free can reign
Where bitterness, can rule
Where gall and bile produces pain
Lives surely Satan’s Tool
Who’ll hide from self! The Lord’s report
Suppressing truth within
Believing lies from Satan bought
Their souls he’s bound to win
Why are such eyes to Jesus blind?
Why death still reaps its toll?
Look deep inside, o selfish mind
Consult the troubled soul
Consider unforgiveness well
Where bitterness has reigned –Eph.4:31-32
Such things can only lead to hell
As Jesus Christ explained –Mt.6:14-15
Forgiveness; brings us joy and peace
God’s love we drink as wine
But where there’s malice, love will cease
And sickness is a sign
Before The Lord gives birth anew
Before we’re Jesus’ bride
No evil can remain in view
To self, we must have died
Break off the chains of prince defeat
Reject the devil’s ploy
Hold fast! The Lord of victory sweet
Drink deep His cup of joy
God’s chalice full of freedom’s song
Releasing those once cursed
Who now in truth, to Christ belong
Can quench in Him their thirst…
