Transparency

Transparency: Something transparent; a picture viewed by light shinning through it.
Transparent: free from pretense or deceit: characterized by visibility or accessibilty of information.

Can we have trust in our marriages if there are things hidden? The answer to that question is no... We have to be transparent to one another. Nothing hidden.... Our lives in marriage are not single lives they are two lives that have become one through marriage.

Ephesians: 5:31
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and the two shall be one flesh.

When we withhold truth from one another we cause seperation from that bond. Walls go up and there the unity of the couple is severed. When we do not face the things that are going on in our lives and hold them in the light we grow further and further appart and the walls turn into mountains. When we know something or when we are doing something and we are withholding it from our spouse we allow the enemy a foothold in our lives which can stream into so many different problems, and our lives and our spouses and our children will bare the fruit of that.

When it comes to marriage there is no room for hidden things all things need to be brought into the light. Your life is no longer yours; your life is your husbands and your husbands life is yours. We are not password protected from one another we have no locks and everything is there in the open to be viewed by one another. Nothing hidden.....
