  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

To Devin

This is to a little boy who died just a few weeks before he turned 2. It's a very sad story because it all happened so fast. I don't know his family but they have let people know. One friday, he became ill. He then died on the following sunday.

A girl wrote this to the little boys family
I don't know if she wrote it by her self or if it's a poem that already exists. All I know is that it's beautiful:

"Little I knew that morning God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of me went with you. The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories Your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing is the same. But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again."
