The eyes of God are far from blind –2Ch.16:9
He sees our every thought –Ps.94:11
The Lord will never change His mind –Mal.3:6
Nor alter His report –Isa.53:1
God’s righteous ways are plain to see
His gospel’s long been told
Yet oft it’s hard that two agree
Just how to serve the fold
If tithes will stir God’s healing pool –Jn.5:7
Bring blessings by the score
To rob The Lord would be a fool
Could close Salvation’s door
Such fools may think they’re Heaven bound
May think they’re in Christ’s hand
Their house is not on solid ground
But built on shifting sand
Perhaps my friend you’re one of these
You pray in church each week
Yet answers fail when on your knees
When Jesus’ face you seek
You’re angry what your elders say
They’ve made you feel so sad
You now refuse your tithe to pay
And feel it’s not so bad
But don’t you see, you’re robbing God?
And not the one you think
Repent or feel The Master’s rod
Whilst deep from grace you sink
For all we have, is Heaven sent –Jn.3:27
This truth we need to learn
Even our body’s Jesus’ tent
That must one day return…PTO…
