In February 2014, I started a Twitter Page and started tweeting songs in a teaching way. I would tweet Youtube videos with a few words to key people into something. God had given me eyes to see and ears to hear. At the time, I liked Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros "Man on Fire." I saw the song as like David dancing before the Ark. (2 Samuel 6) I made a Twitter Page where I was "Man on Fire." (@manonfire63 is the most current one. The link to the first twitter is on the very bottom.)

I ended up on Fire Prophetically. I was hitting everything. At some point during winter-spring 2014, God showed me how my whole life had been preparing me for something. Little decisions I had made to songs I had liked growing up may have been tied to something for God, for his purposes. God gave me a Prophetic calling, and everything I needed to get started with I had been equipped with. I had been rejected from many things in my 20's or goals that I had made didn't quite work out. I started receiving these things from God in God's Kingdom.
Around May 2014, I used a Larry Byrd highlight video to represent me being on Fire and hitting everything prophetically. Why Larry Byrd? It felt right or seemed right. This particular video, which has since been removed from Youtube for whatever reason, used the song "Punching in a Dream" by The Naked and Famous. After watching through the Highlight video a few times, God had me notice the song, and I looked up the artist. I found songs with clear spiritual connotations that may represent something. I may have used a variety of Naked and Famous songs to display something of God, God was showing me things watching the videos.
"Hearts like Ours"
Given an Apocalypse and people growing in Faith and knowledge of God and the Spiritual, "Hearts like Ours" was a message from God when used in the right context.
"I Kill Giants"
I Kill Giants is a video that takes place in a Church. David was a giant killer. That would make a perfect circle in terms of themes? I ended where I started? What is being Naked and Famous mean? Someone who is naked may be naked of illusions and lies. He is naked of anything that is false.
The Spirit of God is like a train at a constant rate of motion. I worked to align myself with the train. God has a will. My will was brought low so that my will and God's will lined up. Following these themes around Youtube we may be able to find other songs or videos that work given God would like me to.

May 24, 2014, I went through a trial. This was after posting or tweeting a variety of things for God and growing in Faith. I went through a trial, and experience supernatural fire over my entire body. It has been a supernatural burning on or just below the skin. Things that I was experiencing reminded me of the Kings of Leon video "Sex on Fire." That would not be a sexual thing, but as a man, we could say that my sex was on fire. It was like all the words in the song were quite accurately describing things I was experiencing or about to over the next several weeks. This is what God has been having me call The Ties That Bind.

In June 2014, I ended up homeless. I was homeless around Raleigh, NC. Like the song "Wagon Wheel?" I ended up homeless, with God, I looked for Ties That Bind over youtube. I found the song "Savages" Breathe Carolina. Prior to my calling I went to Eastern Washington University. Their mascot is the Eagles. It used to be "Savages." There was still some fallout over the Savage mascot while I attended. Later, I lived in Fayetteville, NC while I was in the Army. I applied for a job at North Carolina State which is The Wolf Pack, and did not get the job. When the song talks about breathing in, that would be a breathing in like in Ezekiel 37. God's breathe of life. All these themes were present in the song like it was "No Leaf Clover" it fit with what God was having me do or God was doing through me.

Someone should approach this with meekness and prayer. Seek God and study your Bible, and pray for understanding. The Ties That Bind are an awesome concept and part of how God and the spiritual have been working.
