Many people see themselves as Christians who do not know a thing about the second birth.

There are many people with various high-sounding ‘Christian’ titles - Archdeacon, Reverend, Apostle, Senior Apostle, Mother in Israel, Arch-Bishop etc - who don’t know how a man can be born again and saved.

Many people think they are going to heaven because they are busily involved in Christian activities, or activities they think Christians should be involved in. Such people will be disappointed at the end of their earthly journey.

Martin Frobisher was the explorer who discovered Frobisher Bay in 1576. He took back home yellow stones, which he thought were gold. In 1577, he led a second expedition to dig for more gold. But back home he discovered that what he had found and brought home were not gold but some gold-like materials which were quite valueless and useless.

Travels on the kind of ships they had in Frobisher’s day were very risky. But he took the great risk for the useless materials he thought were gold. All that risk, labor, money, time and energy for nothing!

Many today are busy doing things that they will find to be of no eternal value after this world. They will be shocked to learn, at the end of their journey on earth, that all the time and money they have spent and all the efforts and energies they have concentrated on getting to heaven have been wasted. In hell many will bite their fingers and cry, “All those things I did to get heaven for nothing!”
