The tower of Babel was one of history’s most defining moments by the fact that through the division of languages, it split people up into different groups of people. This also set off the migration of these groups of people to other places, probably due to the suspicion of others against the other groups that did not speak the same language as them. Throughout history, the language barrier has caused much distrust between different peoples, and has often been the cause of conflict between them.
