The Lord gave me THIS VISION: I saw a very large tortoise on my right (east) facing the left (west). He had a snake in his mouth. He slurped the snake inside of his mouth but then the snake was the legs of man going inside the tortoise’s mouth.
Following that, I saw a black bird and then I saw a circus elephant doing tricks by twirling some type of circular tubes, like Hula hoops, with his feet. [See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hula_hoop.] Following that, I saw lots of animals doing magic tricks; what looked like some type of black magic, i.e. witchcraft.
Then, I saw a platter with a very large turkey on it and I saw a family of pilgrims sitting around a table enjoying Thanksgiving Dinner. END

Habakkuk's Complaint
2 How long, O LORD, must I call for help,
but you do not listen?

My Understanding: The tortoise is the US Government and military (and allies, perhaps). We are the “black warrior of the north.” We are the ones with the snake coiling around us, but now the tortoise is swallowing up the “snake.”
I believe the “magic tricks” are these “song and dance” routines that the Bush administration is handing out to the American public concerning this $700B bailout. It is so interesting that they were in such a rush to get this passed and that they seemingly have done little with it other than to talk about what they might do. I believe the Lord has shown me that they already had a purpose for it and it has already been spent on some type of super spy satellite to spy on their own.
My commentary reads that “the treacherous and wicked” are the Babylonians and that “those more righteous” is Judah. The Lord has been showing me the church in the US and/or the American people as Judah in many of my dreams. Interestingly enough, that would make us “the snake” that is coiling around the government and now the government is swallowing the American people and the church whole. The American people seem to be the “turkey” that the government is feasting upon.
